Visual Inspiration - Greyskin

This post was inspired by one of my crit partners, Valerie. The following images are some visual inspirations from my YA Paranormal (no vampires), GREYSKIN.

These come from http://weheartit.com/

This one came from bigstockphoto.com
This one, I made myself. Charlie's desk.

I especially love that first one -- it totally conveys the awesome creepiness of Greyskin. I'll have to check out that website. :)

I can't get over how perfect they are. Especially with the two in the car. He's even wearing a flannel shirt!

Valerie, thanks for letting me know about that site.

This is so cool! It must have taken FOREVER to find exactly the right pictures and they are so evocative... any hints? I'd like to try this.

Hey, Margo! Thanks for checking it out.
The story takes place in a small backwoods town. The MC is a sixteen-year-old girl and she's hooked on this older guy. He's a total roughneck.
The MC works at a video store, hence the videos, and her mother is into herbal remedies and such.
The bad guy smells like moss.
And that's really all I can say right now. :-) Hopefully one day you'll be able to read it!

There's actually a scene where they're in the car, and the guy puts his hand on her leg and she covers it with her hand. And he's wearing a flannel shirt.
