Bedtime with Rollo the NightSpryte!

I met the authors, David and Seth Bier, of this wonderful bedtime read today at the Book Expo.  Great bunch of guys and awesome book!  They were kind enough to not only give us an autographed copy of the book, but also an adorable plush Rollo, who will be protecting my daughter's from monster invasions from here on out!

The illustrations are beautiful, sort of a japanese animation feel and the rhyming prose is fun to read and kept my two kids engaged throughout the whole monster-eliminating venture.

Rollo is a nightspryte given to the children in the story by their parents to scare away the monsters lurking in their bedroom and making them afraid to sleep alone.  The kids learn that monsters aren't intentionally trying to scare them, they just have poor manners.  Who knew?!
