A New York Times Best Seller
In Mary's world, there are simple truths.
The Sisterhood always knows best.
The Guardians will protect and serve.
The Unconsecrated will never relent.
And you must always mind the fence that surrounds the village....
Mary has always lived in the village, protected by the fences that keep the undead from devouring her. She's dreamed of a life beyond the fences, of the ocean in the stories her mother told her about life before the Return. Her hope has all but faltered until the day Gabrielle wanders in from the forest. Until the day the fences are breached.
The ending does leave something to be desired but have no fear, THE DEAD TOSSED WAVES is here!
Part horror, part romance, this book is impossible to put down.

This is two books down on my TBR list - I am DYING to read it! :-)
Some parts of it were pretty freaky. It's so well written you can practically smell the rotten zombie flesh. It's awesome.
Ooh, I have been wantying to read this one! I wasn't sure at first, but I have been hearing so many good things about it. :)
I loved it and I never cared for zombie stories before.
It's on my list. I just wish I had more reading time!!!!
I don't usually read anything horrific but this was a great book. I finished very late at night and had to start a new book before going to sleep.
I'm holding off for book 2 so I can prepare myself for it a bit better.
I LOVED this book and read it in one sitting. I can't wait to read The Dead Tossed Waves!
It is not a book for the squeamish, that's for sure.
